Software Issues

Facebook viruses are all the rage these days, they propagate so fast that anti-virus companies are struggling to keep up with them. If you contact us we can get it sorted for you – and install software that will help prevent such issues in the future.

We  handle removal of all computer viruses and malware, there is a difference and it generally requires different software to remove them.

We also handle a host of software upgrades and Operating System re-installations. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and put everything back from scratch.

If your PC or laptop is a few years old and has started to run slowly we can clean out all the junk and get it back up and running like when it came out of the box.

If you’ve just purchased a new system we can install all the software you need to make it work properly for you and avoid all the nasties out there – and it doesn’t have to cost the earth.

Be aware that when you’re purchasing a PC system from your vendor they make as much money out of selling you extras such as unnecessarily expensive anti-virus and office software as they do out of the system itself. If you doubt this then ask yourself why you always end up with two anti-virus solutions – one that is already on the system (usually a 60 day trial) from which the vendor can make no money and the second one sold to you with the machine, a product from which the vendor can make a nice little profit. It doesn’t make any sense at all when you take into consideration that there are quite a few very acceptable anti-virus solutions – free for personal use – from which you can choose – unless of course you’re running NASA, in which case you’ll probably have to pay for protection.

If you purchase the system without all the expensive add-ons we can set it up very cost effectively for you with best-in-class free software.

Hardware Issues

Failed hard drives, faulty motherboards, broken laptop screens, cracked power connectors, blown AC adapters – these are just some of the more common problems we deal with on a daily basis.

Why not call for a quote – you could be pleasantly surprised. Not all IT firms are there simply to rip you off.

We also guarantee that your technician will be there to discuss your problem with you in person. He will also be available on mobile phone or by email so that you can have your queries dealt with immediately. No hanging on phone lines interminably waiting for faceless computers to connect you to a different technician of dubious qualification every time you call.

Independent Advice

We don’t sell PC systems, laptops or printers so we’re in an ideal situation to offer you independent advice on what system will suit you, where you should purchase it and how it should be set up. If you want we’ll also set it up for you and we can guarantee it’ll be a lot cheaper than having it done in the shop in which you bought it.

Areas Serviced

Mid Munster – which includes South Tipperary (where we’re based, between Clonmel and Mitchelstown), North Cork, East Limerick and West Waterford. We generally operate a callout service, which means we’ll work on your PC or laptop in-situ in your home, office or school if possible. If not we’ll take it away, fix it as quickly as is practical, and re-install it to ensure it is working properly in your premises.

Alternatively, should you wish to call into the office with your machine you’re more than welcome to do so, just drop a line and we’ll give you directions.

We can guarantee that you’ll have a direct line of contact to your technician, no queuing on automated phone services that eventually lead to technicians with a dubious grasp of the English language. If you have a problem you can speak to your technician directly and get an answer quickly. If he can’t answer the question immediately, he’ll find the answer and get back to you with it as soon as possible – guaranteed.

Qualifications

Your technician is fully University qualified, which is very comforting to know. Not only that, but he’s been working in the IT industry for almost 20 years now, so it’s not that easy to phase him. Don’t accept less from other operators who may just be chancing their arm. There are a lot of technicians in the market with no qualifications at all and very little experience – be very careful. Your computer is an expensive piece of equipment and you use it to store a lot of important information, don’t entrust its care to just anyone.

What’s the qualification? Good question. It could be that our technician has just scraped through the ECDL course, but no, he actually holds a first class honours degree in IT Management from DCU. If you don’t believe us send on an email and we’ll send back a copy of the degree.
